The ChristChurch Cathedral Choir tour begins

The ChristChurch Cathedral Choir flew out of Christchurch to begin their world tour on Friday July 11th after singing a beautiful farewell to all the family, friends and well-wishers who had gathered to farewell them.

It was great to see some many family, friends and well-wishers at the airport on Friday afternoon. We were all treated to one last song before the choir went through the check-in to await boarding their plane for Auckland.

They arrived safe and sound in San Francisco after a good flight and have already enjoyed a harbour cruise, dinner at a restaurant at Fisherman's Wharf followed by an early night. Apparently there was not much sleeping done on the plane.
