What exciting games we played in Exeter!

Monday 28th July 2008

Today we traveled from Oxford to Exeter, which was a 3-hour drive along the highway.  We stayed at the Exeter Cathedral Choir School and after we unpacked, we went to sing the evensong.  When we got back to the School we played a vigorous game of DODGE-BALL!!!   We had a really good time playing Dodge ball - much better than sitting around watching TV.

Tuesday 29th July 2008

Today we decided to go down to the beach and build sand castles, play in the sand and go swimming in the ocean but our happiness was soon spoilt by the weather.  It bolted down but we didn’t care, we were having too much fun - the parents had a horrible time.   Eventually we packed up, got dressed and went and had a hot chocolate at a bar on the beach. Then we went back to the School where some watched a movie while others played Dodge Ball.  Afterwards it was off to the Cathedral to sing the service.
